Your fishing time is precious and with so many different fishing trips on offer, knowing which trip to do can be a challenge. Over 20 years of offering tiger fishing in Zambia, Royal Barotse Safaris has settled on this selection of trips and fisheries to work with that have consistently delivered quality experiences for a range of tiger fishing enthusiasts. SIOMA BAROTSE

Ideal for 5 – 6 nights in July, Aug, Sept, Nov and Dec.

Where do these trips take place?

All of the fishing safaris take place in the Lower Barotse region of Western Zambia

Travel Logistics

Mutemwa Lodge acts as the base for Royal Barotse Safaris. Our Kwamashi and Sioma Barotse trips are both accessed from Mutemwa Lodge and therefore, you can plan how to fish the Lower Baroste region primarily by looking at how best to access Mutemwa Lodge.

Fly to Mutemwa Airstrip

Fly in via charter plane from Livingstone, Zambia to Mutemwa Airstrip.

Drive In

Drive in from Livingstone or Kasane Airports to the lodge after connecting with the daily commercial flights offered by SAA or BA.

Fly to Katima Mulilo

Fly in via charter plane from Lanseria, South Africa to Katima Mulilo.
